At AES, we know what it feels like to battle acne, to hide under concealer, to self-consciously shy away from a poised camera. We were tired of living that life, so we found a better way—and we want to share it with you.
I’m Coach Kimmy, and I’ll be your guide and partner through every part of The 8 Steps To Clear Skin journey. This e-course leads you through the steps of managing and minimizing your acne. Throughout the program, you’ll learn the specific factors that can impact and trigger your acne, giving you the tools to get—and stay—clear. Oh, and those harmful side effects like redness, pain and birth defects? A thing of the past.
The e-course is for you if:
You’ve tried every acne-clearing strategy, but your skin improves only marginally or temporarily
You haven't tried everything quite yet, but you already have an inkling it won’t work
You’ve either experienced or read about scary side effects from certain treatments
You’re tired of solutions that make your skin dry, red, irritated and dull
You want guidance about not only which products to use but how to use and optimize them
You’re willing to work hard and follow given guidelines (if you only had the right guidelines to follow)
But first, a warning.
our method is not:
Easy
Controlling acne takes work, and you’ll have to actively put in time and effort to accomplish your clear-skin goals. Much like a personal trainer can’t give you a six-pack, I can’t do the work for you, but I can give you all the knowledge, guidance and tools to help get you there.
Quick
I wish I could tell you that our method will provide immediate results, but to truly manage acne for good, we have to take a comprehensive approach. While it would be fairly quick and easy to treat the superficial symptoms of acne, such as redness and swelling, we’re interested in pinpointing and fixing the underlying factors, lifestyle choices and daily habits that are at the root of the problem.
A Cure
Unfortunately, there is no cure for acne. Acne is a genetic disease but a multifactorial condition, which means that DNA causes it but many other factors can trigger and exacerbate it. While we can manage many of these triggers, we can’t cure the original cause, unless modern medicine one day finds an antidote (but that won’t be me because I hated science class).
Now for the fun part.
What you’ll gain from the course:
I promise that if you commit yourself to the course and its components, you will finally understand exactly what steps you need to take to be as clear as you want for as long as you want. I know that’s a big pledge, but given the tremendous success of all my devoted students, it’s a promise that I’m happy to make. Once you learn how to manage your acne, you’ll know exactly the correct steps to take if a pimple does arise. And sometimes, you’ll decide that dealing with a breakout here and there is worth having your favorite gelato every day on vacation (ahem, speaking from personal experience). After all, life is all about balance.
